Senior Maintenance Manager

Zagan, Poland·presencial

weleap acompaña a empresas y equipos directivos a atraer, fidelizar y desarrollar el talento que necesitan para ejecutar su estrategia — con presencia en España, Portugal, Francia y Latinoamérica.

We're looking for the kind of person the whole plant turns to when something really matters: the Master. Not a title on a badge, but a role earned through decades of hands-on expertise, someone who owns maintenance end-to-end and whose word is final on how things get fixed, run, and taught. This is a senior figure who has nothing left to prove technically, and who now wants their legacy to be the people they leave behind, fully capable of carrying the plant forward. Key responsibilities Hold full ownership of the maintenance function (mechanical, electrical, automation) as the final technical authority on the plant. Lead and mentor the maintenance team, with real focus on developing junior and mid-level talent into future leads. Design and own the preventive/predictive maintenance strategy for injection moulding machines, moulds, and auxiliary equipment (dryers, chillers, robots, conveyors). Build structured knowledge-transfer practices: documentation, on-the-job training, shadowing, so critical know-how never leaves with one person. Drive OEE improvement by reducing unplanned downtime and mean time to repair (MTTR). Own the maintenance budget, spare parts strategy, and critical equipment planning. Implement and continuously improve the CMMS. Lead root-cause analysis on recurring failures (8D, FMEA, RCA), using each case as a teaching moment. Set the standard for health & safety and environmental compliance in all maintenance activities. Manage external contractors and equipment suppliers. What we're looking for Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related) or equivalent experience: 15+ years in industrial maintenance, with deep expertise in plastics injection moulding. A recognized "master" profile: someone whose technical authority is unquestioned, and who has already led maintenance functions end-to-end. A genuine track record of building people, not just fixing machines — this role exists to leave a legacy, not just keep the lights on. Solid knowledge of TPM and preventive/predictive maintenance methodologies. Experience owning maintenance budgets and CMMS systems at a senior level. English required; German is a plus. Hands-on mindset — comfortable on the shop floor, teaching by doing, right up to the last day. What's on offer Full ownership of the maintenance function: final word, not just a seat at the table. The chance to shape not just a maintenance function, but the next generation that runs it. Monthly salary: PLN 20,000–22,000 Full-time, permanent contract
